After weeks of searching for Julian Assange, he finally surrendured to the police in London, on Tuesday morning, and was promptly arrested.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange arrested in sex case - latimes.com

Sweden will ask that Asange be extradicted to Sweden to investigate the claims made by two women who had sexual encounters with the founder of the controversial WikiLeaks website.

The Swedish authorities claim the women may have been coerced or raped. Asange is denying the allegations and believes along with his attorneys that the U.S. has pushed the sexual assault case behind the scenes as a way of embarrassing, and silencing him.
